A V7 cell is a type 2 element. This element type does not contain a data field that stores the parent cell library name.

The original cell library information is not retained when a cell is placed. The best way to handle this is with well organized and documented cell libraries.

In V8, I doubt this information is stored, since any model can be placed as a cell.
