1. Workspace | Configuration…

2. In the section labeled "View/Modify all configuration variables" scroll down to where the variable: MS_LEVEL_DISPLAY_FORMAT

3. Choose <Edit…> and enter a new value.

4. You'll likely need to re-start MicroStation for it to take effect.

I'm pretty sure there is no way to set a configuration variable through the key-in browser.

Where is the configuration file that sets this variable? 

Can these configuration variable settings be set using the Key-In command line?
