I need advice on an intermittent problem.  Every now and again, for no apparent reason, all my dialog boxes will disappear.  Sometimes they come back after a few seconds, sometimes some come back, and other times they’re gone for good.  Nothing specific seems to trigger it, and sometimes it happens when I’m not even doing anything but pondering my cathode rays.  Any suggestions?

Also… occasionally a random dialog box will spontaneously minimize to a button, that only opens into a dialog when you hover over it with the mouse.  Very cool, unless it happens to be the “Actions” dialog, the one that gives you information on the tool you are using.
