I already have the Cell Library with the cells that I need, I don't have to creat new ones. I just want by using the Linear Pattern Option, the cells to look the same for all the lines and not for some lines deformed.
I used MicroStation's instructions: "To create a cell". This worked well for me. Maybe you were looking at something different?
Here is exactly where I went for instructions to create the cell:
1. Help | Contents
2. Choose Getting Started | Cells | Creating and Editing Cells
3. On the right-hand page expand "Cell type".
4. Now expand "To create a cell".
I thought the instructions listed here were very good. I was able to follow them without trouble. If this doesn't work for you, where are you getting stuck.
I don't want to create a linestyle, the lines should remain the way they are respectively bylevel, linestring, style 0 and so on. And when I add the cells to the lines (linestrings), they should have the same properties as the lines but the cells are not merged to the lines. This option Linear Pattern seems ok, but there is no option "Allow Stretch". I would need some details about the steps for creating a point cell. I didn't manage with the MicroStation'help.
"During the process of creating custom linestyles, one of the steps is creating a point cell for the linestyle. During this process there is an option called "Allow Stretch" that is on by default. Disable this option and the cell used in the custom linestyle should not deform."
I need to put cell on lines in dgn. I am using the option Linear pattern, for some lines it is working fine, but for some lines, the cell is deformed. I don't know how to keep the cell for all the lines the same and also the true cell.
