The “RD=” Key-in

In MicroStation V8, you can open a file and go right into the model of your choice by using the “RD=” key-in. For example, “RD=project.dgn,sheet file” opens project.dgn and goes directly to the model called Sheet File.

Assign this to a function key while you are working on a particular section of a project and you will save yourself a couple of minutes every day.
